CURRENT OPENINGS (4):

1. Marketing Coordinator

Details:

Location: Remote
Hours/week: flexible; hours depend on how long it takes to complete required responsibilities. An estimated total of ~20-25 hours/week.
Commitment: Longer than 6 months
Pay: biweekly of $1200

Responsibilities:

Work with the rest of the Relume team and supervisor to gather content and discuss ideas with.
Overall responsibility for the delivery of a range of content assets, including social content, website content, and newsletter content.
Content Creation/Planning/posting
Create post drafts using brand assets (existing photo/video, templates), inspiration/examples, and input from supervisor
Write captions and hashtags
Put posts, reels, and stories into planner via FB business suite whenever possible
Maintain flow of social media at all times
Post requirement per week:
Instagram: 3 static posts, 2 reels, 3 stories series (more ‘formal’ stories like engagement activities, specific strategic information, story sales)
TikTok: 5 posts (2 of which can be reels from Instagram)
1 newsletter biweekly

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field (newly graduated or about to graduate preferred)
Up to date on marketing and social media trends
Proven increase in social media following either personally or with a company.
Strong video editing skills; experience with InShot, CapCut, etc.
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Independent thinker, but can work well with a team
Excellent writing and communication skills

Details:

Location: at Relume’s storefront in Capitol Hill, DC
Hours/week: 15-20 hours per week, shifts ranging from 4-8 hours on weekdays and weekends
Commitment: Longer than 4 month commitment preferred
Pay: $17/hour

Responsibilities

Welcome and engage with customers, assist them with purchases
Clean and restock store throughout the day
Assist customers of all ages with walk-in craft bar (beads and watercolors)
Processing new inventory arrivals
Informing customers of shop promotions and going-ons, answer frequently asked questions
Perform end of day cleaning duties
Address and resolve customer complaints in a professional manner
Process customer payments through Point-of-Sale system
Maintain an in-depth knowledge of store items to provide advice & recommendations as needed

Qualifications

High School diploma required
Proven retail sales experience
Ability to stand for extended periods
Ability to lift 25 pounds
The ability to use labeling and pricing equipment as well as Point of Sale (POS) software
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong organizational skills
Effective communication skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Detail-oriented

Details:

Responsibilities

Assist with various production tasks at Relume’s studio space, including candlemaking, order packing, and other administrative tasks
Wick, pour, and decorate candles in bulk
Help keep studio tidy and supplies organized
Coordinate re-ordering of supplies when necessary

Qualifications

Details:

Location: from home, but must be able to pick up supplies (earrings & books) on weekly basis from Relume shop (Capitol Hill) or Relume studios (McLean or Arlington, VA)
Hours/week: 10-20 hours, set own hours
Commitment: Longer than 4 month commitment preferred
Pay: $15/hour

Responsibilities

Help with production tasks including assembling and packaging earrings, and wrapping Blind Date Books
